Jim Lichtenstein Memorial Scholarship
Jim Lichtenstein was a God fearing man that loved hockey. Even more he loved watching his son, Skipper, play hockey. I had the special privilege of getting to know Jim, as I instructed his son through the years.
After Jim was taken from us, his wife, Pixie, approached me about a special way to remember Jim. Her idea was to create a scholarship for a well deserving goaltender to attend one of my camps free of charge each year.
It is her desire that Jim be remembered as a man who's trust and faith in the Lord was his guidance each day. Although he is gone, the memory of him still lives in our hearts.
